FAQ

I'M PAYING MORE THAN BEFORE, WHY?

Reliability. Every year there are news stories about people who've paid money for snow plowing, and never received the service. Sometimes customers were happy with the service, but the company has gone out of business because it wasn't profitable. Cameron Curtis has been plowing snow locally for over 30 years. We use large tractors with blowers, and the equipment costs more to buy and to maintain. The difference is, after a heavy snowfall, or at the end of a long season, our tractors are still running and we're still in business.

In addition, some drivers charge less because they don't have the appropriate insurance coverage or licensing for snow plowing. Our business is licensed, and our drivers and tractors are insured for snow removal.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

There is no one set fee that covers every laneway. We will give you a quote for the season based on factors such as the size of your laneway.

WHEN WILL YOU PLOW?

Our drivers plow snowfalls over 5 cm, between November 1 and April 1.

WHERE DO YOU PLOW?

Our drivers have routes in:

  • The Carleton Golf and Yacht Club

  • Osgoode village

  • River Road from Dalmeny Road to Kelly's Landing, Doyle Road, and Wood Duck

Note: We do not plow in Manotick, Kars, North Gower, Metcalfe, Vernon, Kemptville, or on First Line Road.
